About

We believe that every Christian has a calling to lead a “missional life.” We believe that living a “missional life” has two parts:

1) Living out and 2) verbally declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

Living out the gospel:

By “living out” the Gospel, we mean that we are called to serve (Galatians 5:13-14), love (Mark 12:31) and care for every person we come in contact with by meeting their needs to the best of our ability (Matthew 25:43-45.)

Verbally declaring the gospel:

By “verbally declaring” we mean that we are all called to clearly and consistently verbally communicate the Gospel of Christ to those we come in contact with (Mark 16:15, Acts 20:24), and purposefully to communicate it to those around the world who may not have had the opportunity to hear it (Romans 10:14-15).

Helping each Christian fulfill this calling to “missional living” (by living out and verbally declaring the gospel) is the motivation behind everything we do in the Antioch Missions department.
